@Jumper This is looking awesome! Two main points of improvement in my opinion; hair and lighting. I will edit with details later, have to go <3

Change of plans, lol. Still here 😜 Hair is, in my opinion, probably the hardest part of doing art. Especially when aiming for realism. May I ask how you do your manes currently?

well I do an outline and full in my darkest colour to get the general shape then go over in lighter shades of the colour in strands that follow the general direction and make some go out of the shape ect then go back to that base colour and blur the edges a bit i use Krita btw Gem said: Change of plans, lol. What I'm noticing is that you need more shades and less straight lines. All of your lines should be curved at least somewhere in order for the hair to flow. I don't see the need to blur the edges of the base either. After drawing your hair, add shadows and highlights based on your lighting.

Decided to keep it simple stupid XD Thoughts?? Also how much should I charge for a piece like this? Thanks in advance! Edited at July 28, 2020 12:30 PM by Breezie Rose

@Breezie This piece is beautiful! Love the new body prep. Definitely matches the background well color wise but not so much lighting wise. The horse seems very bright compared to the slightly darker background. Wonderful eye and definition.

I'd thin out the back and hindquarters more

Thanks you guys! I have another piece I finished this morning(before the grey). Not super proud of it, but I need to know what not to do next time :)

@Breezie The colors blend really nicely and the mane is super cute but the lighting is what throws me off. The tiger is lit from above while the horse is lit from the left side. Secondly, there is a lot going on in this image that captures the viewer's eye besides the horse and the tiger. I reccomend blurring out pretty much everything behind the tiger.
