Hi all, I am really needing some help with ibis paint x pretty please

My main struggle at the moment is colour changes. This is such a struggle of mine to the point I will just close the app and not open it for a month lol. Sometimes it works pefect while other times it doesn't. At the moment, I am trying to catch up on art orders but feel as though I am just sitting here looking at a brick wall with no ability to escape. The current colour I am struggling with is copper bay

I have followed Zomb's tutorial before and a couple others, unfortunately I still cannot get it right. It just looks ridiculous D:
