What photo editing programs can you use to make art? I know about Photo Shop. Anything else?

I use Krita, it's free and there's a ton of free brushes available for download out there :D Plus, they're pretty easy to make yourself :3 I've tried out FireAlpaca as well, but IMO it's not as good as Krita

I highly recommend Affinity Photo. It's what I use and is super comparable to Photoshop - most online tutorials translate over. :)

I swear by ibisPaintX.
especially because it's beginner friendly and you can use ALL brushes for free for 18h after 1 ad.

^^ I use ibis paint so goes to show you how you can make it what you want, complexity and experience wise. I have never used anything else, never paid for anything, etc.

And it's an APP, so I don't need to do all this software downloads. I can use it when I'm in the car, no wifi, works on phones, etc.
