So lately I've been thinking about getting into art on here just for fun. I'm not the most creative but I think it would give me something to do in my free time when I'm bored. I don't expect to be super good at it or even get good it, it would just be fun. I think I'm definitely meant to be more of an art appreciater instead of an artist

But brief summary aside do you guys think an IPad would be any good to do art on? My knowledge on actually doing digital art is very very miniscule lol but I've been really thinking hard about getting an Ipad lately, not for the sole purpose of art that would just be an interesting bonus if it works well for it.

An Ipad should be fine! I think there are several artists that use mainly Procreate or Ibis Paint! I myself use Procreate for manes/tails.

For general art, I adore Procreate w a pressure sensitive stylus. It is my favorite way to do digital art (not photo manips/editing).

I use ibispaint for everything:)
