Hello changed around my style a bit, want some advice. here's some examples: |

I think that these are a good start, but most do not fit with their backgrounds. So something to work on would be shading or color values I think, as well as the eyes are a bit unrealistic. I like the tobiano piece how everything on the horse fits together smoothly unlike the cat and horse piece where nothing seems to lay together. I love the manes but think that they could be seen in different shades to give it more of a real effect. I think the white outline is not needed for most pieces, but only where there are actual highlights. Love the work, hope this helps :) |

Mid tier 3. The horses absolutely do not fit into the background. The bay on the first one is way too bright and saturated for that background. Same with the bay/cat piece. Another thing that sticks out to me is the body prep, the horses look super flat and the eyes are unrealistic. Lighting/shadows are a HUGE part of making a horse look like it's in the piece and honestly, I'm not seeing any of that here. Your mane and tails could use a bit of work as well, but that wilm come with time and you have a great start at those already! |
