Hey guys :D I have been working on this WIP for AGES. While there is still a LOT of work to go, I found myself playing around with some different background styles and would love to know which one you guys like more! This piece will be up for auction when it is finished, God knows how long that will take, LOL.

Again, it's still VERY much a WIP :P Edit* If there is anything you would be interested in seeing added INTO the piece, ie: certain patterns on the horse, wings, etc, I would be interested in hearing that, but for now it is on a set course to keep plucking along as is xD

They're both lovely, but when it comes to preference I personally like Version 1 better. I feel like the details near the castle pop out better!

I don't know why but I imagine a knightly horse fleeing or charging a dragon with this setting :)

Both are absolutely stunning, Sunny! I have to agree that everything looks crisper in version 1 which draws me to it a bit more, but either way I absolutely LOVE it and will be stalking it when it's finished ;) (especially if it has wings or other fantasy elements!!)
