Hi, I keep having my art taken down. Since I put all the time and effort into these peices (like the splash header) it's rather annoying. I tagged it with both my Twitter hangle and HEE stable name. What is the problem?

Twitter handle?

You need to credit any source you get the art from, and you need to make sure that those sources have given you permission to use them (unsplash, deviantart, etc.) The Art section of the forum has a thread about how to properly credit your work that may help clear up any confusion.

If they do not know that is your Twitter handle, when they go to approve it and reverse search the image, it will appear that you stole the image from that user.

So I would stop crediting your Twitter (you also need to provide the website in your credit as well!) And just provide proof that you created that image from scratch.

If they go to my Twitter or Pixiv (linked on my Twitter) they can see I make the art myself. I don't see how removing my twitter handle is going to help.

They shouldn't have to track you down on Twitter is my point.

Follow the rules or get your art taken down. It isn't that hard. But repeatedly getting your art taken down is a great way to get an art ban.

So id talk to the mods and find a common ground instead of just repeating the same behaviour.

As long as no references were used for the banner and you completely did them from your own mind, yes.

I posted about this in the How to Credit Art on HEE thread a week ago and never got a reply concerning drawing inspiration from 20+ images (not stock & not 1:1 reference). Using multiple images for inspiration and making significant artistic changes is encouraged by professional art. Which is to say, no single image is drawn from and no stock was used, but examining a dozen plus images to refresh anatomy is important and encouraged by art professionals. The only time I do direct reference is for art Studies (1:1 reference of a single photograph), but those are not the works I'm sharing as those are just for practice.

A good example is that I did half a dozen studies of skulls before I was able to draw them freehand, but even freehand you can see errors in anatomy with the skeleton in my banner because I drew from memory. If I had refreshed my memory by drawing inspiration from a dozen skull photos beforehand, that would have helped cut down on anatomy errors. Do we need to list a dozen images if we aren't referencing them directly?
