I don't really think one's better or worse. They both work really well within the overall style of their piece, so it would depend more where you want to go with that. The first looks more 3D and is in a very 3D/realistic piece, while the second looks flatter, but it's in a pretty flat/surreal looking piece. |

I like the shorter tail on the chunky bodies. |

I like the first one the best, but given the choice I would chose the first one's mane and the second one's tail. |

both are really good, and suit the piece. personally i like the first piece better :) |
