Hello, you lovely people. I've realised I'm not consistent with my art fixation enough to warrant a shop (yet, this may change with my future magic ADHD medication :) ), so I'm happy to mooch along and auction pieces as and when the motivation strikes. My main question is, what do people actually want when it comes to art? I feel like I fall into the trap of wanting to do the same thing with a lot of my pieces (antlers, glowy light things and forests). I'd love to do some darker/possibly slightly more horror-aligned pieces (Sagebrush is a huge inspiration!), but I'm trying to gauge whether these are too niche for auction pieces. Is this just a plot to avoid ever having to work with vibrant colour, and hide all my dodgy body prep in shadow?... Maybe, mind your business :) |

I like more dark fantasy pieces (Like a horse with antlers in a very dark forest) much like you And warmer-colors seem to catch my eye (something very similar to the color of my palette) And I think I might try to snag a gothic piece if given the opportunity, I'm interested in horror shows and the like x) |

I feel like fantasy is a huge thing right now. Personally I like more natural peices with sunsets or dramatic lighting. (Just realized my beloved stable set is saying the exact opposite XD) |

Hehehehe fantasy is always a win 🙂↕️ However, I think that comes with the caveat that people like more unique fantasy designs. So less white unicorn standing in a sunny forest, more fantastical dragon horse in a cave of crystals. Hippocampi are also sick as mentioned above :D |

Agreed, from a personal preference point I love this! I can't get inspired about just doing a plain horse on a nice background, it needs something a lil' weird to keep me interested 😂 |
