Soo, my prices are pretty low but I don't know if I am lowballing myself... And I need advice/critique or help! Tell me honestly! I need to know if it is bad so I can practice and change my method! I also really think 10k-15k is too low as a price for my art but I also know that 60k and above is waaay too much.

Your price is about right. Maybe 10k.
I would recommend watching some of "Vixen Studio" tutorials. You can learn at lot just watching. Maybe look for some background/horse preparing tutorials also.

Hey, i think pricing around 10k would be suitable. Here are some things you could easily improve! *Make sure the horse is on a seperate layer than the background before smudging the tail! I notice that the background appears to be smudged with it - or maybe it is just giving the effect because the smudging tool is too strong, try having it on a lower strength level and use varying sizes of brushes to create more realistic tail strands. *To improve and get more realistic shadowing for under the horse, try duplicating the horse layer and turning it into a black silhouette and then use the blur filter to blur it out a bit, position it where a shadow would fall and adjust the opacity. (erase excess shadow if not needing the whole shape)
I would recommend looking at some horse prep tutorials, prepping your horse differently can really make it stand out sometimes :3 Hope this helps a little? |
