So im trying a new way of doing my manes/tails and was wondering how it looked and where I could improve. *not my line art (c) darya87* Also any tips on doing the face pattern? |

you have got really good detail on the tail but the quality of the image is all pixel so try and make it clearer it might just be what you are working on though |

Well, depends. Do you have a mouse, or a tablet you're using? Either way, it's best to not take any short cuts. Hand drawing the little dots and earasing some in to the bigger, solid piece is the best way to do it, I've learned! And steer clear from making it uniform, make it random! ^^ |

i personally would take a slightly darker shade than the mane and tail, and make tiny lines to define the different hairs. it takes time but its so worth it. |

I know this is a line art, but you have the mane blowing one direction, the forelock the other direction and the tail in both, it looks pretty good but just something to think about |
