why won't deviantart gimp brushes download for me? I've done everything right but they wont copy to the brushes folder even though they say they have. They don't show up in the actual gimp program either. |

Once you download the file, you will need to find gimps brush folder (usually in your hidden files) and manually put the brushes there.
Theres a few tutorials somewhere if you Google how to install brushes on GIMP |

Thanks jello ;) I did manually place the brushes there in my gimp 2.8 folder- brushes. They show up in the folder but not in the gimp program itself. |
