So Id love to know... how do you make a banner without the horses getting pix-elated? Ive made the background to size and made the horses smaller but they are not good quality... So Started off with the normal banner size , DONT Save it to your PC ( Assuming) Copy both horse and Background. Cut the horse out on another page ( 1000 x 1000 ) then copy that onto the banner area. Then donÂ’t blur the sides I smudge. :) |

Ok. What I do is crop the banner to size(669*150) I then crop out the horse i want and scale it down but they end up blurring really badly. Ive tried to sharpen them but they still look blurred. If the horse is on a 1000×1000 size then won't it be too big when placed on the banner? |

I use gimp also. What I've found is to start with the banner size of 669×150 and yes, bring the horse onto the banner.
Something that I have noticed is that if you scale the horse more than once, it becomes blurry. If I scale the horse to an incorrect size, I undo the scale and rescale to the correct size.

Should i find horse stock that are a small size? Ive tried editing them on a differnent page and then putting the horse on the banner but it still comes out blurry :/ |

I double the size of the banner and work on a bigger space then when iÂ’m finished with the whole piece I size it down to the proper size :) |
