I know I don't have the credits on these pics since it's a work in progress. I would like to thank kittykitty5150 and BlaneyStock (both from Deviant Art) for the horse image and cut out.
It's been a while (well actually close to a decade) since I did any art. I decided to work on a precut horse and just concentrate on the body. When I originally learned photo manipulation I used Photoshop and a very very old version. Now I am using the newest version of GIMP. Took a while to relearn using an art program lol.
I even attempted the eye! While it's nothing spectacular, I'm proud of the eye since it's been forever and that was always a weakness of mine.
I'd love to hear what you all have to say about what I did so far. Also, I could really use assistance with drawing the mane and tail. I must have read 1,000 tutorials and it just isn't sinking in for me.
