Yes. I want to in the future use the horse I'm using/altered against a different background. Perhaps change the mane & tail.

People use the same stock images frequently for different art pieces. I've used one stock image twice for two different artworks.

So long as it is not an intentional, exact duplicate of another person's work (stolen), it is fine to use the same stock that others have used. Just be sure to make it your own art piece! :) It happens all the time.

What isn't allowed, and I don't think you meant this but I'll mention it anyways, is to cut the horse out of someone else's art piece. Make sure you're downloading it from a stock provider.

If you buy art you cannot change it and re-sell. No.

She's asking if she can use stock that others have used, or use stock from her previous art- not take someone else's art and sell with changes.

You can use the same horse stock image from art YOU have made and use it in a different piece.

I have, at times, re-used horse stock because the pose was perfect for the idea.

Unless you are stealing it (and that includes cutting out any section of a finished product) from another person's work then it's a Swiper no swiping situation.

Basically PK, you can recreate your own work however you like. Just don't Frankenstein someone else's work. 💖
