Hi all! I've been on and off this game for years, however I recently found a hobby in horse art, and I'd like to see if I'd even have a chance selling it on here. My style is different than the more popular manips that are usually selling on here, but I still think it's worth a shot.

Though art styles can evolve, I typically will draw lineart off of horse stock, color the horse however I want, and place it on a photo background. I don't normally shade anything, but I do try to make the horse "belong" in the photo, through manually grounding the hooves, and sometimes changing the hue of the horse and/or image to match. Though these examples do not show it, it is very easy for me to add on to any horse, like wings or horns, which adds a high level of customization possibilities for selling art to people. I haven't tried it, but animal morphs (hippogryph, kelpie, etc.) would definitely be something I could try doing as well.

I love how they're sketched! I have a pretty identical process although I do think adding shades highlights will really bring it home, as I've gotten better at that I've noticed a raise in auction price etc. personally, I'm not sure how much you would get right now, but ya, feel feee to pm me if you want to ask about shading etc, I'd love to help!

Gotta say, colored 'lineart' isn't a big seller.
