So I'm having a small dilemma. If I use a stock picture for proportion reference, then change the entire pose of the drawing, do I still need to credit the stock image? Example(bolder red is the somewhat final pose sketch, faint red is stock pose) 
original stock image: https://www.deviantart.com/colourize-stock/art/Sha-47-541159157 I understand that the safest way to go is to credit it either way, but if its only barely referenced is the credit truly needed? Its just a general issue I have whenever uploading a drawing, especially if I make changes to the pose. Of course if the pose isn't changed, I'll credit the referenced image. But what if its changed this drastically to a point where you wouldn't know the stock image was even referenced? |
