I am having issues with maintaining image quality when I upload the digital art.

I mainly work with Pixel Art - which means that it's very small details and that doesn't always translate well when I'm uploading it to share.

Upon other issues (upload sites that are accepted in forums sites) - I am trying to upload a 4500 x 4400 px image that is a large 'map layout' with details that are 1 px (basically) but the site (deviantart/ sta.sh) keeps lowering the quality of the main image unless zoomed in (great quality), and I am unable to view/utilize the high quality (perfect) image - and it keeps referring back to the resized blurry image.
I have cropped aspects of the image to help the size demsions but still dealing with blurred image quality unless zoomed in.

Am I missing resizing feature to correct the shown image to the original dimensions?

Is there a better site for uploading - that also keeps images private/copyrighted to owner - and is basically universally accepted by forums (copyright/content concious websites)?
