How do I download fonts from dafont to GIMP? I have a font I like, but I can't figure out how to get the font to the actual app

I don't know, I used to use gimp, this isn't much help but someone once told me that it normally saves to your computer as a zipped file and you have to unzip it?

I usually save my fonts on desktop as a zip file, then unzip it in a file on my desktop that says fonts. Once that's done, I move them to the Windows font file. Once there it should work with all programs that you use fonts in, I believe.

Download the font from the dafont website, then go into your files, find the font, and double click it. There should then be an install button somewhere, which you click. Make sure GIMP is CLOSED when you do this or else the font won't load into the program. After downloading and installing the font, then you can open GIMP up and it should be there when you go to select a font. This is how it works to me, but it varies from device to device
