The mane is nice, But the markings look very unrealistic. So does the way the hooves sink into the flowers. |

The manes color is nice, but the shape strongly reminds me of a mullet.
I would really study the mechanics of hair. They bend and wave. I would also suggest adding different length strands. Right now they all appear the same length, which is what is causing the mullet appearence. |

You need to add some shadowing to the legs. as far as the ground connection, think of walking through a field of flowers. How would they break up your leg profile? Would it be a straight line? How high do flowers go up ones leg?
Also dont forget to add a shadow. It's sunny outside. |
