| Stella - since Buckskin is a bay-based color, the odds are good you'd get a silver bay foal |

| Stella Any silver horse can have a silver foal, no matter what other genes are present, for homo silver both parents need to have silver |

| @Stella If there's 1 silver gene Z, then there's always a chance of silver being passed. |

| Sorry, I meant does one parent have to have only the silver Gene? Would I still get a silver foal if I bred a silver buckskin and a silver bay together? Would there be a chance of them producing just a silver foal? |

| Rose - yea, even when you breed leaderboard WWWs , there's no guarantee the foal will be well rated, as many of us have learned the hard way. |
