I haven't done any art yet, but just wanting to know the proper method of credit. If I get a free-use photo from a stock site like Morguefile, Pexels or Unsplash is the proper credit "(c)photographer name (if known) @ site name" or simply "(c)site name" if the photographer isn't credited on the site? |

I'm not 100% certain what Morguefile is, but I do know that Pexels isn't allowed. :) Unsplash will generally have an artist listed, so yes. You'll have to put the photographer's name. You can do "name.unsplash" instead of an @ . The only sites where I haven't seen people have to list an artist, are Adobe and Shutterstock. I believe this is because they are paid sources, but I could be incorrect |

The credit has to be printed on the image. You must write it on the actual image and it must be large enough to read. This way no one has to go looking elsewhere to see that it's someone else's work you have permission to use, it's right there on the image. |
