You have to have an empty pasture to convert. But once you do it is permanent. No way to change it back sell it or delete it

Hi! I'm a little inexperienced when it comes to having freshies. I now have this boy coming up who I think trained pretty decently. So my question is about the breeding requirements, for his straw thread specifically. Should it be EEW or EWW (any combination)? It's important that I get help with testing, but if possible I'd like him to be paired with good mares.

Bonus question: if I give him the EWW combo requirements, would it be smart to offer his testing straws for free?

For first year I usually offer my super promising freshies for 10k and WW+ mares for the first 10 straws/LCs . I then price according to where they land on the LB for the remainder of the month.
