Just because no one seems to know because they keep giving me the wrong answer: You CAN plant hay in pastures. How you do it: It has to be spring in-game. You go to the pasture. (Go to home>barns>click on the pasture.) You can then scroll down where you manage horses there will be a tab on that that says HAY. Click it. This took me a whole day to figure out and several people answered my question repeatedly wrong. Good luck. |

It depends on what you mean by retire/ what you want to do. If you want to get rid of the horse you can free range it, there's a button on the bottom of the horse's page for this. |

The game adds the retired marker automatically to horses that are 18yrs or older, to let players know they can't be bred anymore. You cannot give the marker to them. |
