I believe that's the manchado pattern? I think if you search for it in the search horses menu you can see if there are any for sale or for breeding, but I think it's a mutation?
Ironhorse

What, Eyrie said. Manchado, sorry

That pattern is a Chimera, which is a random mutation.
You cant breed for it.

Better off trying to buy one thats for sale i reckon.

Jernigan you can't really breed for that. The white is manchado, a random pattern, and seal brown vs regular brown is random.

Those of you who've done Federations, how do you decide which horses to spend the $$ to enter in Feds? I know you will obviously want horses who won't be leveling up until late in the month so they are showing well during as much of the month as possible. But how do you decide which ones should be a good prospect? Is there a target number of weeks you look for to have passed since the last level up? I've been thinking 6-8 weeks? I want to get into Feds, but entering everything and hoping it works out would never be financially feasible.

Either you go into severe micromanagement on all your horses and hope every gameyear, that your top ranked horses will not level up within the last few days - and that exactly these horses you entered into the Feds will train up nicely and do not have bad luck with their show groups.
Or you go and enter all your show stock into the Feds and you do not have to care a lot about luck, good training sessions or unlucky show results.
At the end of a gameyears, there are mostly these horses in the top rankings, you never thought of in the beginning of a month.
And all Fed points sum up all lifetime long and they will count for the Qualifyer Shows.

So Fed points continue to accue over multiple game years and not just for one game year?

Yes - The Fed points stay for the whole lifetime and once a horse has 20 Fed Points and hits level 8 it will meet the requirements to get entered into the Qualifyer shows for the HEWG.
So whenever they are in the winnings they will earn points for the Q-shows as long as they are entered in the Feds at this time.
I had several Futurity foals, that earned their 20 points within the first gameyear ;)
And as I mentioned before:
You can start to micro manage and check how long it takes each and every horse to level up. Then you can enter just the ones that will not level up for at least the next 5 weeks in the beginning of a new gameyear.
But as soon as you will do this for each show horse it will get very time consuming - and you still can not tell if a horse will have 3-4 lucky training sessions in a row and level up before the 25th of a month.
