Is this something they get when they grow up? Do they get it from ther parents? I have two quests that ask for a foal with premium rating, so I bred a foal, both of it's parents have premium ratings (One of them is PPP and the other is PEP). |

No, thank you, I was unawar that you needed to do that!!! Thank you very much... Wait, the foals two parents are premium and the sire even has elite in XCountry, why does the foal only have superb rating? Are ratings genetic? |

Though ratings are passed down from the strength of the parents, breeding results are heavily influenced by random factor. This means you are never guaranteed the foal you're breeding for. Even the best pair can result in a faulty foal if RF decides so. A PPPxPPE match typically isn't going to be very grand regardless, though. |

As well you need to match the parents strengths and weaknessess together for a better shot at a decent foal just throwing them together will generally end in a poorly rated foal |

Simply breeding P rated parents together does not guarantee a P rated foal. Not all PPP's and PEP's are created equally. You need to look at the training to see what they're strong in, and try to match the strengths and weakenesses. If you breed two horses that are both weak in heart, the foal will struggle to maintain the CC and Jumping P. |
