Hi, I was doing a giveaway for Christmas but have been told I'm doing something against the rules. Is this right? I don't want to break game rules. :( Can someone please direct me to any guidelines for this? |

If you need clarification, i suggest asking the Mod who PMd you.
I remember seeing rules posted somewhere but can't find them.
This is what i know off the top of my head:
1. Giveaways may not have an entry fee. They must be free. 2. Winners must be chosen at random with screenshots of all entrants posted in a online random picker, as well as screen shots of the winners.
I think this is also a rule (but dont hold me to it): 3. With the exclusion of club giveaways, all members must be able to enter if they would like.

Then this is your issue. This would count as an entry fee, which is prohibited. |

Thanks for your reply Jellos Warmbloods, I wasn't contacted by a MOD, only 'Heiress Acres' has complained. And I did not PM Heiress Acres or anyone else to ask them to breed or buy one of my horses and then they would be entered into the giveaway, I have only sent messages to those that have ALREADY bought or bred to them. Free entry is also permitted to anyone that inboxes me to ask This also includes anyone who uses my free studs. I'm pretty sure that I haven't broken any rules. This is the message I've sent via inbox: 'By buying or breeding to one of my horses you have qualified for a ticket to my CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY to win a pretty PON filly 'Snowball'. For more info please check my stable page.
If you'd like to enter please REPLY to this message. You MUST reply to enter.

'Ceffylau o Gymru is hosting a special CHRISTMAS GIVEAWAY to win this pretty PON filly 'Snowball'.
All you need to do to enter this GIVEAWAY is buy or breed to any of my horses before DECEMBER 25th and REPLY to my confirmation message, or for a FREE TICKET just send me an inbox message.

That's the issue. That is against the rules, because that qualifies as an entry fee. |
