Hi there everyone,
I'm a new member of this game, barely registered a few days ago. I read through the guides and FAQ, and it's a lot of information to cope with. That being said, I might have missed this info I'm looking for:
Could someone explain how the stats of the horses work? (Mv, Int, Hrt, etc.). The horses are always born with 1 bar on all stats, and they get more bars as they are being trained? Or can these bars be inherited from their parents? These bars are what determines their placement in shows? Or do the ratings (Superb, Premium, Elite, etc.) matter more? In other words, what makes a horse successful in this game?
Gosh I have so many questions :D

Yes so horses are born with 1 bar (it's different if you capture then it's 3). The bars increase with training. How many weeks of training it takes to increase the stats depends on their rating.
Placement in shows depends more on number of bars. As a rough guide you needs 2 bars per show level e. g. For level 1 you want 2 bars.
Ratings are inherited from parents. However there are factors involved. Some horses will have weakness in stats which ideally you want to match with a strength from the other horse when breeding. This increases the likelihood of a well rated foal. There is a random factor in this so EEE x EEE will not always produce an EEE.
Dressage is affected by: movement, intelligence, strength. Cross country by heart, speed and strength and jumping by heart scope and speed. A horse who was elite in a discipline would like have bars from the corresponding trait go up in week 4 or 5. |
