If you have a popular stud and want to maximize his breeding, sell straws. Studs only get 20 live covers. Using straws gives another 30 breedings at least. It's a great way to make more money if he's super popular. |

And, it's a way to use dead stallions.
Let's say you have stud X, and you take Y straws. Y straws will never be destroyed unless you manually destroy them.
Now let's say X stud dies. You still have Y straws. You can still technically breed your stud even through he's dead. |
