I just used 15 rerolls on this girl, and she will *not* reroll to anything but that exact same blanket, sometimes with pangere, sometimes with different stockings. She should be rolling between blanket/frost/snowflake and different patterns therein, and the varnish should come and go, but she is literally stuck on "varnish blanket appaloosa" and won't change at all, not even to another blanket pattern! This has often happened to me with rerolls (getting the exact same pattern) but never this bad.

I've had that issue with some of my blanket appy horses. I didn't think much of it, but thinking on it now, it used to switch almost every reroll between Blanket/Frost/Snowflake.

Hmm... I thought the patterns depended on genetics (what combo of appy and PATN they had)... At least according to the KNN genetics Kuewi posted in forum somewhere

She was born a snowflake, I was able to reroll to a frost, but then as soon as I rerolled to varnish blanket appaloosa it stopped randomizing and would only give me that same pattern plus varnish. She wasn't born with varnish or blanket.

Its just luck.

Can anything be done to at least ensure it doesn't choose the same pattern the horse already has?
