Thank you, I’ve gave up on the quest for now as I’m running out of horses to pair with my boy xD

You do have to breed approval the foal though because of the double premium part

Oh wait nvm I just need angels last comment as a reminder: it’ll auto complete one of the quests. Sorry, ignore my last comment

Is it worth rating a foal if it doesn’t have the colour in the name? Or could it be hiding the gene?

Yeah
All the quests that require certain genes you don't have to gene test to complete them. As long as the foal has the genes it will complete it

I appreciate the replies, I was just throwing horses together beforehand and hoping for the best then I started doubting myself and wondering if I was doing it wrong lol! I appreciate the help 🖤

I've found that if you get one for a quest, you don't have to gene test it and the ZZ quest will just be finished

For a quest it will automatically complete it if it is ZZ. But if you want to know, you'd have to gene test the horse

The only way you can tell is genetic tests. But your best bet is to breed two silver together and hope you get lucky

How do you tell..? If it’s a ZZ silver. If there isn’t any ratings on it..? I’m trying to find one to breed with and I had a system where I was actually pretty good at doing breeding quests but I stopped doing them and I’m trying to collect my little memory again 😭

There is no visual difference between one copy of silver and two. Patterns don't effect the silver gene

Hello all :) I have been a member of HEE for a long time. On my current account, I feel like I am stuck. I have tons of EEE mares (I know, this is considered a good problem to have) but they aren't really strong. It seems I can breed higher ratings but the horses resulting from them don't tend to train well. I've gotten to the point where my barns are just full of horses and I don't have enough room to breed all of my horses every season. I usually have to set free the foals from the previous year that are under EEE. Due to the market nowadays, I know these mares would not really bring in much for breeding or even being sold. I know they can be great show horses so I keep them anyways. I am finding it hard to save enough ebs to get another 100 stall barn before the next breeding season comes around. If I use the money for a new barn, I will not have any money left to breed my few really nice mares to any worthy studs as some of them are almost as much as a 50-100 stall barn 😄 I suppose it really is about patience and maybe just sacrificing breeding for a few seasons to really build up ebs...but I am wondering what other people have done in case I haven't thought of something. Thanks!

I would breed your strongest mares, to strong stallions. FR anything that isn't all up by week 5. Strong EEE mares you're looking at having 2-3 up by week 4 anything else is really strong.

Then brood out the other EEE mares for ebs and save the all the ebs you can by just breeding the stronger few for the next few months.

Thank you! That is a good plan. I think my patience just gets the best of me even though I know that is the right answer. I will do that😊

I just kind of chuck my EEEs to whatever is around, I mainly save for breeding to others' mares and stallions +items. Usually I have 1-2 "big" matches that i put my all into, then save a bit for my personal WW+ mares or brood them out to afford nicer items :) That also allows me to only add like 5 new horses every year due to constant EEE culling. (currently holding off on FRing a few as I hit the 100 horse cap for ebs)
