On the following horse, her foal Poseidon is listed as an EEE, where he is an WWE.

Before the introduction of the W rating, he was an EEE so maybe that has something to do with it?

This has been addressed several times before. Any horse born before the introduction of the W rating will not have their rating changed in breeding history if their rating was changed when W was introduced. It's not possible to code. This isn't a bug :)
