So I was just wondering how exactly federations work, are they entered automatically once we pay the fee?
Do we have to enter shows or do they get entered automatically? |

You have to enter the shows.
Essentially, you enter the fed and then show your horse like normal. So, if your horse is entered into the XC fed, you just enter it into XC shows. The exception to this is the eventing fed. You have to enter the horse in dressage/XC/jumping shows each week to gain points.
