Horse names being cut off

I've had this issue for a while now, but it's continuing to happen so I'm bringing it here.

i add a "brand" before all of my AD horses names, TMO. Now, when I go to name some of my horses (for example, TMO indicative) it cuts off the last letter. For another of my horses, TMO Wënschen, it cut off the "schen" portion entirely. I do not believe I am exceeding the character limit.. help?

If you ´d use not normal letters, but special symbol letters, they use more characters than just one when they get saved as a name.

This is why your тмσ and a 10 letter word ( or an additional ë) is too long and exceeds the limit.
