I was looking at the HEWG Qualifier points leaderboard and I found a horse that has quite a few HEWG qualifying points (17) in Jumping. The horse is lvl8 in jumping, and has only completed in Jumping shows at that level in January 2026. The horse is training in all disciplines and has qualifed for all three events. I must be missing something here on how the horses gain HEWG qualifying points, because there has only been one showing cycle this GY for qualifying points (results on Jan 7). Is there a different points system for Qualifier shows on how many HEWG qual points a horse can get in one discipline per show? Or does it not matter which HEWG discipline the horse gets the points in?

I'm just confused on how one horse can have so many points after only one HEWG Qualifier show this GY and only being level 8 in that discipline.

HEWG qualifier points sum up for a horse in it's lifetime.

I did not look at the horse by now, but

I assume he got these points in another discipline, were he is SM in the meantime. Then disciplines get changed/set to AD and he was entered into the J- Federation.

When I did HEWGs, all my XC were placed high in J and vice versa after they hit level 10 at the age of about 14yo in their first discipline.
