The topic was brought to my attention when someone was sharing their story of not being able to use an embryo after returning from a hiatus (unsure of how long, if time or activity matters). Their mare had passed without any living offspring, and she had been unable to save the mare to a memorial pasture. So, I suppose the game had 'deleted' her mare. -- My question is if this is a possible glitch or if embryos actually have an expiration if the mare isn't saved through memorial and/or have active offspring? This is coming from a person that has 153 embryos currently lol. So, I need to know if I need to start using them. I'd hate to see them go. ---- Apologies if this has already been addressed or answered before. Edited at September 1, 2025 03:06 PM by Legacy Leagues

Embryos have a expiration, I'm pretty sure if not used they expire and you are completely unable to use it^^ sp I really suggest you use the embryo so it's better late then never! but as someone whose never used a embryo I could potentially be wrong XD To be sure don't take my word for it 100% Edited at September 1, 2025 02:48 PM by Nolified

There is no expiration for embryos, but there was a bug for a little while where, if a mare was deleted from the game without other offspring, her embryo became glitched/deleted. I assume since this person was on hiatus, this bug got her embryo. Eve has since addressed so it shouldn't happen anymore, but be sure to post in bugs if it happens to any current embryos.
