I have tried to use a picture of mine as a profile picture - twice so far - and twice it has been removed due to improper crediting. Which would be fine, if I could understand why. The image is a watercolour painting of a butterfly (that I painted, no reference used, all rights are mine) which is then "framed" in a light blue where I wrote (c) Cinnamon. As far as I can tell, there is no crediting/copyright issue. I have checked and rechecked the forum guidelines and tried to contact the admin/mod who removed it. They were nice, but ultimately didn't answer anymore and then (when I tried the second time) removed the image again Can anybody help? I am by now quite frustrated and too stubborn to use a different picture. |

I don't know if this will make a difference, but maybe instead of putting (c) Cinnamon, put your stable number. Many stables on here could be using the name Cinnamon and so then the mods won't know who the image truly belongs too.

Hi Cinnamon! I have a few questions and suggestions:
Q: Did you happen to use a reference photo? If an image looks like another image that they can find through google reverse image search then it is counted as a reference and if it is not credited it will be taken down. If the photo it is referenced is not stock it will also be taken down due to that.
Suggestions:
-Add stable name and number -Contact a different mod, many of them live in different time zones and get 100s of game mails -Send the picture link with the new credits to a mod to check before uploading, this could get you an answer faster
