Hello! I'd like to start making my own art for my horses, but I have no idea how to start out? How do you make the art, so that it fits within the guidelines (max size)?
I am a photographer and I tried using some of my photos as "art", but my photos are taken with a DSLR and are too big to fit (yes I tried changing their size and it did nothing, but distort the photo beyond recognition).

500x500 - Horse avatars - 100kb 669x150 - Banners - 300kb 300x300 - Stable avatars - 300kb

Thanks for replying! I know what the sizes are. That's not my question. My question was how do I get started with doing art and how to get the art within the size. |

You would have to use an art program if you want the images not ¨distorted.¨
Examples: Ipiccy Photoshop Ibis Paint X Photopea . ...
There are many more. |

DSLR cameras produce HUGE files (I do photography in my spare time) for them to be sized right you are going to lose a lot of quality/ slightly distorted image |

Ipiccy works well, but takes a bit of time to learn all it's functions ;) It's what I use. |

Thank you. I figured that out, which is why I am currently looking at other options (hence the first part of my post). Would you happen to have any? Thank you.
