When I put my AD horses with my barn manager do I need to enter each discipline shows, to see what they excel in?

The training bars will show you what discipline they excel in.

Hold off on showing them until the bars start going up. What the bars go up in shows what they are strong in. When the bars are even, they more than likely won't be good until after they start showing strengths and weaknesses.
