For some time I have had a hard time brooding out my girls. I’m not sure if it’s because I’m doing something wrong, if no one is interested in using outside mares right now, or something else. I’ve been able to brood them out for free or just to cover the embryo fee just because I don't want them sitting unused, but it isn’t sustainable to do all the time. I don’t think my mares are that bad either but please let me know if I’m delulu lol.

Do you have more luck posting in sales chat, making a post in broodmare ads/embryo forums, club threads, or other channels? Also, is it better to have set prices, do auctions, or have people give you offers? Curious to hear your opinions and experiences!

I can't embryo or brood out any breed lately. Even LB horses. I think it's the people not wanting to use them or too many available

I've also been struggling now adays I just use the broods to get what I need as a trade instead of ebs since I can't sell them

It's just the market. Some months all of my mares get brooded out and some it's like pulling teeth to get somebody to take my upper TBLB, WWW producing Tobiano mare.

Youre defnitely not alone. I find they are more likely to get snagged if put up for LC on RO. Generally wont be a "prioritized" match but if I use them myself it wouldnt be either XD
