So i recently bought an arena. I noticed not many people were entering and my projected profit right now is 60 ebs. I don't really keep side hustles in this game unless they're bringing me significant profit. So my question is is anyone making decent money from these? or are they really not worth the time?
I also had the same question for selling hay. Is that profitable?

A lot of people won't enter shows until later in the day before the show. I enter in the morning, after I set up my own arenas (but I just sent nine entries into yours).
You have a decent entry fee, so you should draw more entrants as the day goes on.
