Obviously you can just treat it like a pasture too and never plant hay and just keep horses in it. But keep in mind that if you have a stallion and mares in it, they will randomly breed
Sunset River Arabian

The option to plant hay will show up at the bottom alongside the water tab and such. I think its just the first 7 days of every month that you have the option. Than it needs to grow for 14 days and than you harvest it and can either leave the pasture empty or store horses in it till you want to plant more hay in the spring again

Hello everyone !
I've been trying to breed a foal with a World class rating in one discipline for very long, and was wondering if there was any explanation on why it wasn't working.
I have a few mares with World class ratings in a discipline, and I've looked for studs with very good ratings. However, I never got a world class foal, and I've been wondering if there are any tips that would give me better chances of having well-rated foals, for example when choosing my stud.
Thank you and have a nice weekend !

I am more of a shower than a breeder but when it comes to my SD mares I always go straight to the LBs. I see for each rating (use WC for example) a lower WC rating, mid WC rating and a high WC rating. What I mean by that is while some horses have a WC rating, they may train or act like E's by throwing you mostly E rated foals, so always make sure you look at the studs offspring. Even if you are getting E's some may be worth keeping, like my girl Horse Eden - Online Horse Game . Personally I'd rather have a strong E than a weak WC. Just make sure you track your horses training and pair them with a stallion to improve their weaknesses, if your mare has a wk3 of 112 and you breed her to a stallion with a wk3 of 112, the chances of the foal being an E is higher than it being a WC as the weakness will bring down the rating. You also have to take in the randomizer (forgot what most people call it), even with a nice match you could end up with an E or even a P with it just being bad luck. I'm sure someone else will go more in depth, thats just a rough overview on how I breed my girls :)

As an example your nice - Grieve for Me
4th time training, her training bars show. W4 212111 so strong in Move + Hrt
Pick a stallion who has good int+scope+speed+strength to compliment her.
The more bars showing at week 4 the better. But of course this is also affected by the rider skills, as a good rider will train the foal better. But anyway it will show the foals strengths.
Don't go for the most expensive stallions, it is a waste until you have top W mares.
Check the stallion for his early training bars that compliment your mares early train bars. Later bars become skewed by success in competitions and trail rides and specialty clinic training.
Also check that he has produced plentiful E and a number of W in the areas you want your mare to improve in. The top value stallions have to be viewed with caution as top producers use them and use stained glasses and Svens to improve the outcome of their big investment.
A filly straw + sperm straw can be useful. Ensuring a mare foal which can then breed to another complimentary stallion who has more Ws.
Finally when buying your mares check they have a long pedigree of W in the characteristic you are hoping to breed in.
Best of luck. P.S. Looks like you are doing well so far.

Thanks ! Reguarding the training gauge thing, do you all have a sort of table to recognise a sort of rating depending on the train bar ? And should I really start documenting them ?

Thank you ! I'm going to try that out, just how do the filly straw + sperm straw work and how do I get that ?

This is something I wrote out for another player that needed help:
-
"I don't have much to say about this. Just this: that breeding for rates is definitely frustrating. I have side accounts who breed for WWWs and all that, and none of them have gotten past breeding an EWW. And I've been playing for more than a year IRL. HEE just takes time to get good at.
First, you need good mares to breed to the LB stallions.
Then, you need money to pay for breeding to the LB stallions and items and all that.
Then last of all, you just have to pray that you don't get a PPP from RF and just plain old bad luck.
In my eyes, unless you want to be the best WWW breeder on HEE or something like that, sticking to breeding a EWE or two every month and slowly building up your stable is a great way to go. That is, if you have enough patience."
-
That is all. These are just my thoughts, not really tips exactly, just how I think of breeding for rates. Thank you!
