I recently started using the BM, and I was wondering if it was better to use AD or SD geldings? I'd use eventing riders no matter what to keep costs down but I was wondering what people prefered and why. Any other general BM tips would be great.

In my humble opinion - BM wont get you anything regardless of SD vs Eventing. Its easier to enter SD on the BM but. Meh. She never made me money. And doesnt seem to make many people as much as if you hand show

If you use the BM have it set to competitive horses only. I have made more doing it that way and I only have a couple of EEE geldings that I show and the rest are all SD
