Hello all!

I'm Spirtasi Whim's dad. She's at bootcamp and has asked me to run her stable. Uh...I don't know how to do that.

She gave me instructions on how to feed the horses, pay riders and barn manager and train the horses.

She said something about checking mail on rollover (the 1st of the month?) because "the broods will be available by that mail the game sends. I (I assume she) will send matches and they both get colt straws as their items used. I would appreciate if you could rate the boys".

I don't know what that means. If anyone wants to help me figure that out, I'd be much obliged. She really loves this game and the community, you all have been great to her and because of this community, her art really became incredible. I just want to make sure her game doesn't get messed up while she's away.

Rollover is the first day of each month, when we can breed our horses again. From the sounds of it, Tasi has some broods lined up (she's agreed to breed to other players' horses). You can go to Stable > Breeding Center > Matchmaker to see what stallions she's planning on breeding to those broods. Then all you have to do is go to the mare and breed her to that stallion, while also using a "colt straw" item.

as FirstLightFarms (Aka Puck) stated RO is the first day of each month, it's a exciting day and all the horses are breedable again, as mares can only have 1 foal per year, and stallions are only available to be bred by live cover 20 times not including straws.
It definitely sounds as if Tasi has some broods (other peoples mares she will use this upcoming RO) lined up for RO in hopes of a nice foal, which I'm sure will be accomplished :)
It also sounds as if Tasi will be using colt straws which will guarantee colts on RO. You are also able to view the matches Tasi has planned (Click Stable (top of the page)>breeding center> matchmaker (at the bottom of breeding center page) and if you scroll down you should see a few horse links- and click view matches.

In order to Rate a horse you must go to services at the top of the page, click 'breed approvals' and it will show a list of horses to rate. If Tasi has a ton of random unrated horses it would be helpful to add some sort of indicator to the colts names so you can find them on the list, the goal would be the rates say World Class on all 3 disciplines.

So what she means is she is using other people broods and you will get a notification in your mailbox from the game on the first. The colt straw is item that costs 25,000 dollars in game currency that will guarentee a colt when sue with a straw, which I am assuming you/she will get at some point if you don't already have it. To use it click the mares link that is up for brood, and then go to the second breeding option that will say use straw, then chose the item <3
