How do I get rid of the black border and move the text bar up

I believe if you set border-radius: 0px that will get rid of the border. If you also want to move the bar up I would probably do visibility: none on the header, which I believe would make everything else is up.

Try adding;

padding-bottom: 35px;

Mess around with the pixels to increase or decrease. Its a lot of trial and error.
