Hello! I apologize if this has already been brought up as a bug, but I'm not sure how to search the forums yet since I just joined yesterday. I tried looking back a few pages, though, and didn't see anything so hopefully it's alright to post!

When I go to edit this horse's name, it doesn't change properly:

I'm able to rename my other horses totally fine so I'm confident that it's not just me being new and dumb, but this one won't seem to budge for some reason and I can't figure it out,,,,,

Her barn name changed just fine when I tried to change her name the first time, but her main name did not despite being submitted at the same time. And when I tried to resubmit it thinking I had made a mistake, it still did not change.

I have tried over and over, even at different times over the past few hours to see if waiting helped. I've refreshed, opened her page through different areas of the site, but all to no avail. I even tried different names thinking that the one I wanted (Cheonsa) wasn't allowed for some reason, but none worked at all.

At one point, I was able to successfully remove the beginning text in her name (I believe it was the default name from her parents), but once again I'm stuck on the last bit that will not go away.

I am using Google Chrome on a Windows 10 laptop.

Next time that you try, see if a message pops up at the top saying, 'Horse name already in use'. If it does, that means, quite obviously, that it's already being used

Try adding a symbol or number or letter in front or behind her name. Like Tanglewood said, it could just be because its already in use.

This is not a bug. This just means that the name you want to use is already in use by another horse. Two horses can't have the same main name, but they can have the same barn name.

I just add TW to the start of all my horses' names. That way, I can use whatever name I want. You could use PL or something like that

Whenever I try to change it, it says "Horse name has been updated." and not that it is in use, although I will try again with something in front and edit with how that went! Thank you for the advice (:
