I set free a couple of horses and got some credits in return (at least that's what the accountant says). What are credits and how can the be used/found?

They are store credits and you can use them in the store.

Thank you! I checked the game guide, but couldn't find it there I'm afraid. Maybe I overlooked it though - it's a lot to take in. ;) Is freeing horses the only way to obtain credits? |

No, you can transfer EBS into credits. But you cannot change them back to EBS. |
