| I just did some research out of curiosity and it looks like -14F is the coldest temperature that's been recorded on Long Island in recent history |

| I think the coldest I've ever experienced while working on a farm was in the negative teens and that was plenty cold enough. -23 is absolutely criminal |

| Last winter was rough. We got flooded in about 3-4 times by our driveway, 2'+ of snow, and 10 days of temps that were a minimum of 10 below even during the day for those 10 days. This winter has been a cakewalk in comparison so far lol. A bit of rain here and there, getting into the teens at night and 30s-low 40s during the day so far. I'm really hoping it stays nice(ish). My definition of bad winter has changed lol |
