Name: Alleyah McEntosh Age: 18 Gender: Female Personality: Alleyah is a smart, strong young woman that tends to hang around the shy side when coming in contact with new people or scary situations. She reads books and comes across as nerdy and shy to anyone who doesn't know her. Once she gets used to yur presence though, she turns into a bubbly, hyper girl who talks a little to much and gets bored easily (hince the book). She draws horses (i may link a drawing that I've done from time to time) and enjoys writing short stories about some of them. For a year, she created characters for books and movies, selling the drafts to movie directors and authors. Alleyah is kind and does anything in her power to stay that way which makes it hard to decifer whether she enjoys someone or not. She is a people pleaser and will try her best to make people happy, apologizing a lot if she did something wrong. She had minor trust issues but tends to spill her secrets pretty easily. She doesn't gossip or share anyone elses secrets though. She played softball all through middle and highschool and was offered a scholarship to play at Alabama for college, which she accepted before she was arrested. Appearance: Alleyah has long, straight red hair just to just below her shoulder blades. Her eyes are a green/blue color that give off a sea green shimmer when the sun hits them right. A line of freckles cover the bridge of her nose and a dimple on her left cheek when she smiles. She is thin, weighing about 95 pounds and standing at 5'1". She isn't short, per say, but most girls are taller than her which only makes her look weaker tha she actually is. Her years playing softball gave her strong arms and legs. She has one tattoo on her left shoulderblade- two horse heads in tribute to her childhood horses, Figaro and Yoshi. Alleyah contemplated the idea of getting a tattoo for her dog but never got the chance. Likes/dislikes: Loves dogs and horses, candy/food, and softball. Dislikes spiders/snakes/cockroaches, green beans, tight spaces, and hights Backstory: Alleyah was born and raised in southern Alabama until she was 16. Her mother and father divorced, forcing her to move in with her Dad in Florida. She hated the school system and softball team there and moved back in with her mother when she was 17 when her dad was charged with child abuse and caught with drugs. She left her mother as soon as she turned 18, on her way to the University of Alabama when she got arrested. Reason for imprisonment: Alleyah had been traveling from her home to college when she had been pulled over on the interstate. Without speaking, the police ripped her from her car and cuffed her, shoving her in the back of his vehicle. Apparently, she had been charged with murder of her best friend. A toxic friend of theirs had framed her for murdering the girl while they were packing Alleyah's things for her move. She hadn't even seen her friend halfway through loading her car and thought she had just left to go home. (she had a tendency to disappear during hang outs) Alleyah, thinking nothing of it, had loaded the rest of the car and left. The toxic friend had murdered her best friend in the woods and disappeared witout a trace. The next day, he called Alleyah and asked her for something. She had told him it was in their shed. he claimed that he smelled something rotten and followed it until he "stumbled" upon her friend's body, turning Alleyah in. (who starts first and at what point of her arrest?) Edited at October 27, 2024 04:27 AM by Dandelion Farms

Name: Sage Acker (tbh I'll wind up calling him sage anyway if I give him a different name also yea xD) Age: 19 Gender: male Appearance: Messy black hair that falls over his eyes & down past his shoulder blades (he uses it to kinda hide behind & often has it up in a bun revealing the undercut beneath the long hair), golden amber eyes, Somewhat short (5'6''), very tan skin since he spends most of his time outside, lots of scars but the most obvious one is across his right cheek, slim and light build (but powereful; he has the body type of peak athletic performace despite being smaller), Although he's slim he's still muscular (more refined than bulky), gives off an air of power and/or menace, has a low voice that is quiet and scratchy, he normally wears some form of black jeans and a tshirt (with a hoodie if it's cooler temperatures) Scars: He has plenty of them. One on his right cheek, one across his chest, an abundance of scars on his back and legs from his father's belt, and other smaller ones scattered across his body Piercings - He has lots of pericings. A small silver lip ring on the center of his lower lip, black and silver chain/arrow looking things on his right ear, and plenty of other small silver earrings to fill in the rest of the holes if he feels like it Jewelry: The only jewelry besides his piercings he wears is his dog tags from his time in the marines Tattoos: He has plenty of these too. Dragon wings on his shoulder blades, a skull made of smoke on his right forearm, and a viking rune behind his left ear (it stands for courage in battle). He also has two solid bands around his right bicep area (a tradition of his ancestors, one for his younger sister who's now dead and another for his best friend in the army, who died in combat in the same battle he was injured in). Other: He has a prosthetic arm/hand (his left), a result of a land mine his truck hit while he was in the army. It took his arm off halfway down his forearm. The prostetic was made to look real, and functions like a normal hand, so not many people notice the difference, especially when he wears long sleeves (which is most of the time) Personality: Hot-headed (he often gets hurt or in trouble because of it), he's very untrusting so he doesn't like to accept help, he gets flashbacks (mostly from his father and stepmother, who he doesn't get along with & the war he was a part of) from his past which affects him greatly in a very negative way. He often comes across as rude/cold/uncaring, but in reality he's just afraid of getting hurt again by people who were supposed to be there to support him. Once you've earned his loyalty though, there's nothing he won't do for you. He is extremely loyal, to a fault, and has continued bad relatinships in the past for too long because of it. Likes: Art (painting/drawing), music/singing, nature, anything physical (helps get his mind off of the war and of his past) Dislikes: Loud noises (Because PTSD), crowds, people who think they're better than everyone else Backstory: Sage grew up in a happy household. It stayed this way until he was around ten, when his mother died. His father grieved after that, becoming angrier and angrier no matter what Sage did. That made his life bad enough for years. Then his father married Victoria. She moved in, and took a liking to Sage right away (and not in a good way). This made life even worse, and no matter what sage did he couldn't escape. he tried everything, and even now has a smoke in his hand pretty often, a habit he never could get rid of. He started drinkign too, soemthing that followed him up through his life. The moment he could run, he took off and joined the marines, and spent two years fighting in the Middle East. One day, during a battle, he was wounded by a land mine and lost his arm as well as his only friend at the time. He was sent home then, and now works at a prison. However, he still relies on many less than legal things to survive, despite keeping up the facade of being a 'good guy'. Edited at October 25, 2024 12:42 PM by NightClan

Alleyah sat in the cell like she always did, braiding her hair for the day. She had found a blade of grass that had somehow made it into her new little home and hoped it would hold her hair up. She glanced around. Two down, 18 to go. She thought, sighing. Word on the street, she was supposed to be getting a new guard. Great. Someone new to watch over her while she lives her sad little life. She could be running around bases right now, but instead she was seated on a run down cot, staring at the yellowed floors that used to be white. Shse glanced out the bars at her acquantance, Dale. He laid on his bed, either still sleeping or staring at his ceiling. Jessi, her cellmate, had been released two days prior, taking their guard with her. Alleyah began tying the strand of grass around the bottom of her braid, but it snapped half way through. She groaned and tossed the broken blade back to the ground, unbraiding her red hair and running her fingers through the strands. She hated it here even though it was much better than when it could have been. She had heard stories from other prisoners about being attacked by other prisoners. Thankfully, this prison kept things pretty well-kept and put together. Not many fights broke out, atleast not to her knowledge. If any did, they were either well hidden or broken up pretty early on. She heard footsteps and stood to look out of the cell, holding onto the bars as she examined the hall, waiting for the person who owned the footsteps to appear.

Sage stood in his room, which was doubling as his office as of right then, staring at the door. This was it. Posing as a cop. He let out a chuckle, glancing at the mirror, his normal cocky grin finding its way to his features. He looked the part....well, mostly. The tattoos and many piercings and the long hair just in a very messy bun didn't exactly look like cop material, but the uniform and weapons certainly did. It wasn't much of a uniform, to be honest, just some leather type armor and some of the weapons commonly used. He preferred his knife to the gun, but oh well. He could use both, very efficiently indeed. He wasn't sure about the scar on his cheek....did cops normally have those? He wasn't sure, but he'd made up a convincing story about it. He let out a heavy sigh, glancing back at the door before pushing it open and walking briskly down to the area he'd supposed to be watching. It was a sorry looking building, really....he wrinkled his nose slightly, thinking in an amused manner at how instead of him being behind bars, as he should be....he was a cop. He'd completely fooled them all. He pushed the door open, sauntering in and surveying the area quickly. Men and women. Great. He only paused a moment, intelligent gaze sweeping over the prisoners, most of who were trying their hardest to impress or scare him, especially once they noticed his youth. He let his face carry on the bored look, blowing a large bubble of gum and letting it pop before shrugging and wandering over to plop in the chair he had, resting his combat boots on the desk, not seeming to give a damn about any of them. It wasn't much of an actual either.

Alleyah stood at the bars, her arms crossed over her chest. "Dale" she whispered but groaned when he didn't stirr. "Psst. Dale" he finally moved a little, sitting up. "What?" he asked and she pointed down the hall at the new guard. Dale shrugged and sat down again. Ally ran her fingers through her hair, wincing as they found a knot. She worked on her hair, ignoring as much of the outside orld as possible

Sage had heard the inmates start whispering after a moment or so, but it was nothing dangerous. They would just be talking about him. Trying to figure out any weaknesses, any strengths. What buttons to push and not push. What they could get away with. Judging what he looked like too, no doubt, as they always did. At least, he only knew that since he'd been in a prison plenty of times. Always escaped, they've never been able to identify him or get anything on his record. Least...not permenentaly. Having the right friends was helpful in some situations. "What's your name boy," he heard one of the inmates bark, and he slid a lazy gaze over to the man who had spoken. "Careful, grandpa," he sort of crooned, keeping his voice low and quiet, holding steady eye contact with the man. He knew how to unnerve even the most hardened criminals, and quite easily. "Wouldn't want to strain yourself shouting, now would we," he asked, cocking his head slightly, the smaller hairs around his face shifting with his head, revealing the scar on his cheek. It was a purposeful movement, letting them know he was the one with the power here, and ir was real power. He wasn't just soome new young guy. He was part of the special forces for a reason. "You can all call me S," he added, gaze moving to the rest of the prisoners, making eye contact one by one, silently telling them if they tried anything else, he had no issues getting up off this chair to kick their sorry ass.

Alleyah sat up at the young voice. She met Dale's eyes. She stood, going to the bars. Some of the other inmates were speaking here or there, but Alleyah's voice rung out above he others. "What's 'S' stand for?" She asked, her eyes watching him. Some of the other prisoners glared at her while others just lookd away.

Sage's eyes flicked over to the young woman who spoke up, head cocking slightly in response to her comment. It was a fair question, just not one he'd be answering directly. He wasn't really sure why she even bothered. He watched her calmly for a moment before shrugging. "Code name," he noted simply. "It's rather boring really, they just give you a letter and then a sequence of numbers. Could've been a bit more creative about it all if you ask me," he added. He really did think it was dumb.....havign cooler code names would not only be neat and fun, but something shorter and easier to say and remember than 'S225039' would make for better communication, especially in emergency situations.

Alleyah narrowed her eyes, her arms crossed against her chest. Dale stood, walking to the bars and watching her. "Maybe his code name should Scar. Counted atleast one across his face." she rolled her eyes at his observation. "No dip Sherlock" she groaned, sitting back down on her cot. Dale's knuckles turned white but he let it slide. Alleyah fumbled with her hair again, rubbing her wrists where her brcelets used to sit. She looked out the sad excuse for a window, humming a song. She ran a finger down the dusty bedframe, making a line. She perked up, drawing a flower in the dust. "Hey Dale, check this out" she called as she continued to draw things. He nodded his head in recognition then laid down again. "ugh" she groaned
