Porter looked up, the field was oddly quiet the young bachelor stood alone. His amber eyes quietly glanced around, the lush grass filled the air with its sweet aroma and brushed against his fetlock. It was a awfully quiet nice yet he could hear a heard in the distance, the whining of the young wild stallion as he bravely lead mares. Something Porter couldn't compair to.

Sable lifted her tail as she trotted around, her ears pricked. One of the other young mares snorted and trotted with her. "Do you ever stop showing off?" She asked and Sable shook her head. "Im not showing off! Im being myself. If you can't handle it then buzz off" she snapped, turning and cantering to the small stream that bubbled up at the edge of the field. She ducked her head into the water and lifted it with a splash. After rolling and pulling herself from the water, she shook off her dripping coat and rejoined the herd.

Porter whinnied, he could tell the herd was tracking closer. He had to let the leader know that he was there so no fight broke out. Porter loved mares, he was as one would call a "love bug". He adored his dam and when she past he was broken and soon later was pushed out of the herd as he was 3 years old. He wanted his own herd but not for the reasons one would think, he didn't love girls, keep his babies with them than fight others. He just wanted to bond with a mare who would love him and make him braver, but it seemed harder since he doesn't want to fight for one's herd.

Sable followed the herd, her strides short compared to some of the other horses. She was 15 hands, but the herd consisted of tall mares who had tall foals. Sables dam was considered a pony but her sire was 17 hands. She glanced at the horses beside her. They pushed quietly through the woods, an occasional snort breaking the silence. Sable focused on the sounds of hoofbeats to keep her sanity. How could someone stand the silence? The herd finally broke through the trees, the the stallion and lead mare both noticing a horse standing further away. They snorted and the herd stopped on a dime. Sable nervously looked around as the mares pinned their ears. The lead mare turned on her haunches and made her way back up to the mares while the lead stallion continued toward the horse

Porter stared deep into trees as he heard crackling. His eyes locked in fear, he didn't want another scar, and it's to late to run he's trapped. He stood there his heart was beating almost out of his chest. A large stallion walked out of the Forrest, sure Porter was tall but not intimidating tall. He stepped forward greeting the stallion and eagerly waiting for his next move

Sable stepped forward, her eyes scanning over the interaction of the two horses. The lead stallion didnt seem bothered by the nervous stallion so he continued past him. The lead mare started moving, a secret signal Sable wasn't aware of moving the rest of the herd. She stood there in shock while her herd continued on without her. What had just happened? Why did her leader leave a stallion without a proper fight? He never did that. Sable turned to find her herd when she noticed they were gone. "Wait..." she murmured. "Wait!" She cried out, launching herself into the woods. She wasn't sure where the went. She cursed the silent movement of her herd. She wished they were loud now. That they crunched every stick on the forest floor. she ran and ran until she couldn't run anymore. She slowed in a small patch if sunlight, dropping to the ground to let her exhausted legs relax

Porter signed, watching the stallion walk past him was a blessing. He felt a attack coming but he was kind enough to avoid it. Though he had to continue on his journey. He began walking to the end of open meadow, which was flooded with springs freshest floral decor. Feeling the tall grass brushing up against his chest and the wind intertwining with his white tangled mane that desperately needed grooming by another. His audits perked and twisted as he heart labored breathing he looked wide eyes scanning the meadow until he found a stunning grey champagne dappled mare. ' ' ' Hello? Are you okay? ' ' ' he whispered quietly as he knew she was apart of the herd.
